Olive Oil Eczema Relief Bath Remedy

by Elise Wheeler

Eczema has been a skin problem in my family for several years now.

Some of my family members get it pretty bad, but I only get it slightly and sometimes hardly any at all.

The reason my eczema isn’t as bad is because I make and use my own homemade olive oil eczema bubble bath.

It helps condition my dry flaky eczema spots while treating the rash it causes.

The natural ingredients used to make my homemade olive oil eczema bubble bath are:

  • 1 cup of olive oil,
  • 1 cup of castile soap,
  • 1/4 each of almond oil,
  • jojoba oil and grape seed oil,
  • 1/2 cup of aloe vera juice,
  • 1/2 cup of honey, 15 drops of tea tree oil and
  • 10 drops of lavender oil.

These natural ingredients are moisturizers and antiseptics that contain antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that are all beneficial for eczema prone skin because they help treat, heal, protect and sometimes can even help prevent eczema breakouts.

All of these natural ingredients can be found at your local herbal store and possibly even grocery store.

They are expensive, but well worth getting because they naturally help treat and heal eczema better than any eczema cream out there on the market can.

The way to make the olive oil eczema bubble bath is by first taking a 64 ounce bottle and placing a funnel in it.

Then you carefully measure out the ingredients and pour them directly into the funnel to help fill up the bottle.

Next all you do is remove the funnel and place the cap over the bottle and give the bottle a good shake to help mix the eczema bubble bath right up.

The bubble bath will be oily and have a golden color to it with a sweet soft lavender scent.

After you can place the olive oil eczema bubble bath next to your tub until you are ready to use it.

Now when you are ready to use this bubble bath, you will need to fill the bathtub up with warm water and pour 2 cups of this bubble bath into the water.

The bubble bath is oily, but there will be some light foamy bubbles on top of the bathwater.

You will want to mix it into the water with your hands before getting into the bath.

Once the bath is made all you need to do is get into the bath and soak in all the natural soothing and healing ingredients of the bubble bath.

You should soak as long as possible too really help treat the eczema rashes and dry flaky skin.

End Notes

Before you get out of the bath, you will want to rinse down with warm water to help rinse some of the oil off.

Then you simply get out of the tub and pat your skin dry with a warm cotton towel.

Next you will want to apply a thick eczema cream or shea butter body cream to your skin to help give your skin extra moisture.
