The application of grated cucumber to the affected areas for about 15 – 20 minutes a day has been found to be highly effective in both the treatment and prevention of acne. It has a tonic effect especially to the skin on the face and regular use prevents pimples and blackheads.

6.      The use of tomatoes

The use of ripe tomatoes has been found to be also effective in the treatment of acne and pimples. All you need do is cut the tomatoes and then place the inside wet portion on the affected areas. Leave it there for about an hour then wash off. You should notice significant and positive effects in days.

It is true that persons affected by acne and pimples spend a lot trying to find a lasting solution not knowing that some local, and natural items found in the kitchen and around the house could be even more effective.

However, the advice I would give is that you should keep away from meats, sugar, ice cream, carbonated drinks and processed foods during the period of treatment.
