How to Make a Homemade Uplifting Grapefruit Body Scrub

One of my very own sea salt body polishes to make when my skin is dry and needs some exfoliating is my sea salt grapefruit body polish.

This homemade body scrub helps exfoliate the dead skin from your body, and polishes up the new skin underneath using natural ingredients.

I also find it very nourishing and hydrating to my skin.

The ingredients you will need to make my homemade sea salt grapefruit body polish are:

  • 2 cups of sea salt,
  • ½ cup of honey,
  • 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil, and
  • 10 drops of essential grapefruit oil.

You can find all of these natural ingredients at your local grocery store or organic food store.

I know I can also find them in my local herbal and pharmaceutical store.

I believe the price for all the ingredients together is around $15.

The materials you will need to make my homemade sea salt grapefruit body polish are a large bowl, a mixing spoon, and a large container with a lid.

You can find these materials in your local Walmart Store, grocery store, and even local dollars stores for really cheap.

Now, the way you make the homemade sea salt grapefruit body polish is by measuring out the 2 cups of sea salt, ½ cup of honey, 1 cup of extra virgin olive oil, and 10 drops of essential grapefruit oil and pouring them into the large mixing bowl.

Then you will take your large mixing spoon and combined all the ingredients together to form a gritty sea salt grapefruit body polish.

Once the body polish is made you can scoop it into the container you have and cover it up with a lid until you are ready to use it again.

The way I like to use my homemade sea salt grapefruit body polish and the way you can too is by simply getting into the shower and getting your skin dampened.

After, I like to take a handful of the body polish and rub it into my skin really well in circular motions to help remove the dry layer of dead skin and polish and soften up the new skin so it can be bright and glowing.

Then, after I am done polishing up my body I like to rinse off with cool water and pat my skin dry, and apply my favorite grapefruit body butter to add some extra protection and hydration to my skin so it can be even softer and healthier appearing.

Plus, I simply like that my skin is lightly scented with grapefruit.

I wish all of you the best of luck with making my homemade sea salt grapefruit body polish.

I also hope those of you who use my homemade sea salt body polish like the way it polishes up your body and skin.

I wish you all the best with polishing up your body and skin and getting the results you are looking for.
