Yes.

I’m still alive.

I’ve had a blog post in progress for over 2 weeks now. Nothing special that takes 2 weeks to write about. Just a delicious soup recipe. I just haven’t wanted to finish + post it. Shame on me.

Life around these parts has been fun per usual.

Last weekend we packed up + headed to Shelf Road for a little camp + climb.

Lately I’ve had mega sleep problems. Like 4 hours a night for over a month. Put me in a tent + I will sleep from 7:47 PM to 7:47 AM. Two nights in a row. I guess I should just move into a tent. Be on the lookout for an occupy movement coming to a front porch near me.

I’ve been exploring new art mediums for a friend’s wedding.

Get an art degree + people assume you are good at art.

I am good at making messes out of clay.

Art-art like drawing art…. eh…. not so much.

But I am trying really hard + it is going to be really beautiful.

If you’re wondering what it is- it is a thumbprint tree where guests sign their names with their thumbprints.

For the record- this is just a practice round. A messyessy mess of a practice round.

The real deal will not be disclosed until after the wedding as this is my gift to her.

Look for more in an etsy store near you. Self employment here I come!

I have an obsession with eggs.

Farm fresh eggs to be exact.

In the summer it is mega easy to find them. In the winter you might as well buy a few chickens + grow them yourself.

Ashley + I finally found megaegga delicious ones at our local pet feed store but they don’t always have them.

They haven’t had them for 2 days now.

I am going to starve.

I’m eating nuts for the protein portion of my breakfast instead.

I think I burned more calories getting into the nuts than I actually consumed.

Now back to that soup post……

Cheers!

B+B
