That officially renews my rights to use the word y’all + slather everything I eat in mayo.

First + foremost a Penelope update.

This spritely little thing likes to stick its tongue out at me on a regular basis.

Yes. It’s true.

I wrote my grocery list on the back of this note to self.

And yes- it’s also true that I dropped my grocery list while standing in the check out line.

Only to have it delivered to me by a pale faced jaw dropped check out guy.

Just in case you were wondering – Penny’s cooch is fine.

She just needed a hygienic clip.

Fun!

She says -

“MOM!! Stop embarrassing me!!”

“And clip my cooch!”

It’s all fun + games until someone gets a doggie virus at doggie camp.

Is there a rule that states that all animals MUST get sick after hours?

I believe there is.

Sweet little Penelope had the uh-ohs aka the ups + downs for a few days.

Too bad I was out of town.

Not.

A week later she was back to her normal bubbly self only to jump off of our one foot tall bed + tare her left CCL.

It was almost exactly one year since she tore her right CCL.

Way to go Penny!

When I went to pick her up from surgery she was already waiting for me in the room!

On the wall!

She’s famous!

And adorable.

Check out her little frankenstein chicken wing.

1.5 to 2.5 hours of rehab everyday for the next month or two should provide us with some really great bonding time!

Now if you’ll excuse her she has to go back to space.
