I LOVE this stuff!!
VEGGIE SANDWICH for lunch:
- 2 small slices of the bread
- 2 leaves of romaine
- carrots
- beet slices [marinated in balsamic vin]
- red onions
- not so ripe avocado
- drizzle of caesar dressing
- herbed cheese of the goat
Heated in the microwave for 23 seconds — VIOLA!!
It was GORGEOUS + WARM outside today — So I built a fire!!
The last fire I “built” was inside of my kitchen in college — Apparently you cannot store dish towels in the “drawer” under a GAS STOVE!!
The paper caught fire—
And surprisingly so did the wood!!
PENNY said — “Way to go MOM!!”
Tonight I decided to do all things manly [fire + grill] since I am the KING OF THE CASTLE this week.
GRILLED CAESAR SALAD!!
- Halve + coat with EVOO
- Sprinkle with S+P
Grill on the TOP RACK on high for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
I grilled onions for the salad too!
- Sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese
- Devour!!
I have honestly never in my life grilled — I’ve always let guys do it.
Well guess what BOYZ – My grilling skills are awesome [it is SO EASY] + the burger was BAD @$$!!
- 1/4 pound organic patty [basic S+P]
- herbed goat
- balsamic beets
- on Tuscan TJs bread
