HEY!! I guess I’ve been on holiday vacation from the blog world —let’s see if I can post a little more regularly in 2010..
Here’s a little back tracking –
After a ten hour travel day we finally reached HOME and I turned into a little kitchen tornado + made
TRI-COLOR PEPPER STEAK from my new Ellie Krieger SO EASY cookbook —Thanks K + J!!
- sear the steak in a little oil for 5 minutes on med high
- remove from heat + place in a bowl [include juices from cooking pan]
- toss a little more oil in the pan + saute the peppers + onions for a few minutes
- add garlic + saute for a couple of minutes
- add broth + wine + soy sauce + pepper
- add steak back to the mix
- add cornstarch mixture
- SERVE OVER RICE
I halved this recipe to make it for 2 people + it worked out beautifully!!

Sometimes I think about cutting down on my VINO consumption + then I go pick up a bottle of this wine.

E + I traveled all over MASS looking for our favorite beers.
E’s LONG TRAIL was easily found at the packy around the corner.
My PAPER CITY involved a 3 hour goose hunt —but OH. SO. WORTH. IT.

I took a trip down to COLUMBIA,SC to pick up the fuzzy thing I call a dog + to see HARPER!!
All of the girls were dressed in pink —so sweet!!
DO NOT BUY THIS —TJ’s LOBSTER RAVIOLI is GROSS + FISHY.
I took my receipt back in for a refund —you guys know you can do that,right?!
PENNY was found under the table guarding her new christmas toy from K + J..
She loves it!!
Yesterday she wore a t-shirt when I took her on a walk.
Poor dog.

Perhaps I’ll lay in bed + fall into the black hole that are my favorite music blogs for a few hours..

I wasn’t that impressed with the Lobster Ravioli either! Sounded so much better than it really was.
I am actually going to Tj’s next week. Anything new that looks good? I will keep my eye on that yogurt. Anything that tastes like cookies has my approval.
