We headed to Salisbury Beach before all of the snow melted –
SO. GORGEY.

Welcome to breakfast –
- rice crispies
- strawberries
- skim milk
- COOKIE!!!
Who doesn’t love a homemade iced cookie in their breakfast cereal?

For lunch we headed to a local staple –
BROWN’S
I hear it’s more of a novelty —but I still had a great time!!

Meet my LOBSTA!!

Bye Bye little LOBSTA —I’ll see you in a few!!

This place is BYOB + my lobster was #1

This was my only chilled BRUT option at the grocery —it turned out to be okay

I didn’t have a cup —so I gladly improvised –

and built a sculpture out of my sparkley trash –

Steamers!!

Somebody tried to take all of my fun away and BROUGHT ME A CUP.
Meeeh.

My number was called + I fetched my lovely lobster!!

I was DISGUSTING by the time I finished with my lobster.
I know how to eat a crab —but apparently not a lobster.

After an afternoon of football gazing with E’s dad —we all headed over to GLENN’S COOL BAR in Newburyport,MA for dinner + drinks.
MARTINI #1 —Ketle One Martini Slightly Dirty

ESCARGOT —My first time.
Different + Delicious.

Chopped salad with AMAZING bleu cheese crumbles!!

And calamari!!

MARTINI #2 Stoli Vanil + Bailey’s + Kaluha + Espresso
MARTINI #3 Stoli Vanil + Bailey’s + Kaluha [no espresso]

A few bites of this little dish of mouth heaven —Creme Brulee!!

And then more bubbles.
YUM YUM YUM Freixenet Brut Blanc de Blancs Bubbles!!
There is a slight chance that my liver is mad at me for this over indulgence.
Oh well. It was fun!!

Bed time WATER + COOKIE!!

It is now the next morning + I am blogging + I feel like a little ray of sunshine –
A COOKIE + WATER must be an amazing HANGOVER PREVENTION TECHNIQUE!!
What a delicious + funnnnnn day!!
Cheeeers!!

Looks like such a fun day filled with great eats! That creme brulee looked divine!
You are simply adorable Kelsey! So much fun!!! I’ve never tried a lobster before…haha,I can only imagine how terrible I would be at eating it.

Oh man, lobsters can be messy! We went to Maine when I was a tyke and ate lobbys every night. My mama has pics of me with my face covered in butter and bits of shell. Cute,I know.
haha,my Christmas booze consumption has looked a bit similar. kinda worth it if you ask me:O)
glad you’re enjoying your holidays!!
Mmmm, overindulgence of delicious seafood. I want to come play!
So excited to try your hangover prevention technique!
Those homemade cookies look incredible! I would say nothing is better than having one of those in your breakfast bowl too.
Haha,I love that hangover cure. My hubby is Russian and he always drinks a beer in the morning to cure his “Vodka”hangovers. He swears by it. I guess those Russians know best when it comes to their alcohol. Trust me,after years of seeing how its done,I don’t even question anymore.
I love the Champaign out of the paper pepsi cup. classy.
The sculpture is super cute and totally something I would do…and now I’m considering making myself a martini….
I love that breakfast!
Looks ike a great day!
I love that you had a sugar cookie for breakfast
Tis the season no?
ooooh, yummy eats and drinks. Is that a blue cheese stuffed olive I spy in the dirty martini? If it is I’m ready for one,and it’s 8 am!
BEAUTIFUL scenery!!! and that is one way to start a FABULOUS day!
Yum! Looks like a great time! Awesome cookies~ perfect for this time of year! I had Italian Christmas cookies on Christmas morning
Not gonna lie –seeing this post made me feel a whole lot better about my vino consumption over the holidays. A blogger after my own heart!
I typically just read the blog and don’t leave comments but I had to after seeing you were at Salisbury Beach. I live in Newburyport and have been to that beach a lot. Browns too!
What a small world! I hope you had a great time.
LOBSTA!
So you liked the escargot?
I tried it years ago when I went to France, and wasn’t all that impressed. I mean, sure,it was ok,but it was just sitting in a pool of butter and garlic…I don’t think there is much I wouldn’t eat if it were soaked in butter and garlic.
Maybe mine just wasn’t prepared as well as it could have been.
