This breakfast casserole that K made for Christmas morning was SO DELICIOUS I just have to share the recipe with you guys –

Prepare this the night before serving –
INGREDIENTS
- 1 to 2 packages of breakfast sausage —maple flavored is always a big hit
- 2 C shredded cheddar cheese
- 2-3 C milk
- 4-6 eggs
- 1/4 t salt
- 6-10 slices of bread —cut up into cubes [I vote challah or ciabatta bread]
PM DIRECTIONS
- whisk eggs and milk [the more milk + eggs you use the longer it has to cook!!]
- spray or butter a casserole dish
- layer cubes of bread + cheese + sausage
- pour egg + milk mixture over entire dish + refrigerate overnight
AM DIRECTIONS
- next morning [or whenever] cook at 325* for 40-50 minutes
- it’s done when it stops jiggling + a fork comes out clean
CheeeeeeRS!!
