Holiday Treats + Travels + I think I could be ADOPTED.

We boarded the car around 10:00 AM + headed to celebrate XMAS with my family —->

This is the face of a girl that has TEN HOURS in the car ahead of her TODAY and another EIGHT tomorrow..

We made the easy first almost 2 hours + sat down to a delicious XMAS EVE [well almost xmas eve this year] CHILI TRADITION —–>

My dad thinks he is fancy with the my uncle’s ELECTRIC PEPPER GRINDER..

My uncle says it comes in handy because his hands are usually busy at the dinner table + it is easy to just push the button!!

DESSERTS!! The chocolate guys were imported by E + ME from our most favorite local bakery —AMELIES!!

The GREEN STUFF is a family tradition since I was a little kid —I LOVE SUGAR!!

My mom used REAL PLANTS to decorate my present!!

SO LOVELY!!

She even put my favorite childhood christmas tape in the package —I am totally going to listen to it on the ride up to MASSACHUSETTS.

Someone wore their christmas present as a BIKINI..

It is really pot holders + a dish towel.

My dad says products like these come in handy when you are over 60 and on long car rides.

I REALLY HOPE he was just KIDDING —but I didn’t ask.

A while down the road we stopped a gas station + I came back to the car to find this!!

Someone claims that they don’t get sleepy if they have something to snack on…. hmmmm….

I participated in the snacking activities —QUACKER STYLE!!

Then I washed it down with a soda [a few times a year activity]

Now I need a TOOTHBRUSH!!

We’re currently somewhere on I-95 in VA headed to Baltimore —200 miles left!!!!!

We’ll snooze a little + then crank out the other 8 hours home to MASSACHUSETTS!!
