HAMBONE SOUP!!
I’m going to take the “directions by picture”approach..
-simmer the hambone in 1 box of chicken broth + 1 can of vegetable broth for 30ish minutes
- dice 5 large potatoes
- dice one large sweet onion
-drink some very delicious wine from TJs —This wine is $34 on the Stonehedge website + $9.99 at a TJs near you!!
I LOVED this wine so much because it is earthy + dry + NOT a hint of jamminess that I hate so much!!
-sweat the onions a little with EVOO + a pinch of salt
-pull the ham off of the bone + simmer with the potatoes
- dice + insert celery
- I also made a cream base to add to the soup by browning EVOO + flour …. then adding a few cups of milk + S + P + then tossing it in the soup to simmer for a couple of hours.
- play with adorable baby A
[ASHLEY--- Lil' A says HIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!]
- give the swollen faced thing some love!!
-drink more wine [this one is more everyday drinking style-- but still good]
Poor Poor swollen faced puppy!!
-enjoy a delicious beer named after the colour of my hair
- EAT!! So yum yum yum.
-skewer peeps + roast over fire pit [not photographed]
It was an exxxxxcellent evening!!
Cheers!!

It looks like Avery is swinging around a hammer…and his shirt is off…hilarious! Dinner looks yum yum yum!
This soup seriously looks AMAZING!!! Creamy with all the perfect ingredients. You’ve got skills Kelsey!!!
ADORABLE dress,per usual.
Soup looks gooood!
Funny thing about that wine. Our development is called “Stonehedge”but everyone thinks to call it “Stonehenge.”There is even a picture on the welcome sign of stonehenge but it’s not really that. Weird,I didn’t know that there were other things out there with the same confusing name. Now I need to look for this wine!
Hope Penny is better!!!!

That little boy is precious!!
Your food creations never cease to amaze me.. I didn’t even realize people could go out and buy a hambone, but apparently you can!
Love the idea of roasting peeps. I’m totally going to steal that idea.

Are there Peeps for every holiday?
I hear there’s some sort of website that reviews TJ’s wines…would be SO HELPFUL!! I love the savings at TJ’s,but I am always lost as to what is a good wine and what tastes like it cost $5! If I figure it out,I’ll be sure to share!
That soup looks oh so good. I wish there was a TJ’s near me. Sorry about your pup.
Question…why do you have a short sleeved summery dress on,eric has a fleece + pants on,and lil Avery has no shirt??? I am confused about the temperature!!!!
