This is the most rando blogo post ever.
It starts yesterday [I think] and ends today + totally is not all inclusive–but hey–It’s something!!
Well actually it starts with me –right now – [sitting on the floor] at work blogging [probably not in the job description].
Photobooth– gangsta style.

Hello + welcome to yesterday.
Oh look —it’s a smoothie pre-blender. [OJ + ice not photoed]
And in a classy cup too!!

I HAVE A NEW FUN FUN FRIDAY ACTIVITY—>
Nutrition Education for a 3rd grade class!!
Budget cuts = Great volunteering opportunities!!
Hair flip # 1
Please note all of the shirts I am sporting.
5–purple. green. red. blue. orange.
Oh yes. I stripped for 7 year-olds—->
This was my idea–Wear every color of the food pyramid + explain what it meant–each time I took off a shirt.
Halfway through it dawned on me that I was literally stripping in front of children. Anything in the name of nutrition!!
I apologized to the teacher–She thought it was brilliant.
Hair flip # 2
——————————————————————————————————————–
Last night at work was pretty cool–I worked on the rooftop.
So I ate dinner with a view at my bar CAFE CENTRAL —->
Calamari + Caesar Salad. YUM.
——————————————————————————————————————–
I woke up this morning feeling TERRIBLE. The worst part was —I had ZERO drinks last night.
So–I had a fun OJ + ICE smoothie.
It didn’t work. I continued to feel terrible. And even more terrible that I missed Kath’s birthday party. Super sad.
Then I chomped on these delicious little guys.
I’m not really a cereal eater–but these are pretty addictive.
I keep them in a tupperware thing-a-ma-bob [saving the planet one step at a time] and eat them when I want where I want!!
And I had a heavy dose of butter with a side of pita.
And did homework all day.
Now I’m “working”—It’s 8:18 at the bar and I am blogging.
Kath + Matt + Kate + Nate should be here soon!! Totttttalllly can’t wait!!
ox.
B+B

I loved this! Haha.
I am completely inappropriate at all times as well
Hope you feel better and that calamari looks delightful!
Also,I know you love your vibrams for running, but how are they for bouldering?? I want a pair I can do a variety of activities in but wasn’t sure how I’d like them since I’m used to having my toes squeezed together when I boulder!
Haha, you crack me up about the “stripping,”but I have to admit that you make an adorable teacher in that rocking chair!
Hope you’re feeling better and enjoy your evening!
Sorry we didn’t make it
We were so full and dehydrated from our 3PM linner!
i love the stripping idea! well…the concept behind it
I am cracking up about you “stripping”for little kids. oops! too funny. love the concept though.
Did any of the kids whip out some dolla dolla bills? That would be awesome. And frightening…
Those kids might grow up to be strippers, but at least they’ll be healthy ones. Lol.
Haha blogging at work? Perf. There’s been times at work I’ve wanted to do that too.. BTW I think it’s really cool you were able to volunteer to teach nutrition- I want to see if the schools in my area have that opportunity available.
I would love the run down on what you are teaching in your nutrition education there in the class. I’m doing a similar volunteer program here, and am still working on putting together our group workshops.
I could also go for that calamari &caesar salad.
Hahaha you are hilarious! I love the “stripper”comment for the 3rd graders.
What a great thing though! Good for you for volunteering your time.
Hope you had a great weekend darling.
That is too hilarious, but a great idea indeed. As long as kids aren’t going home saying ”the lady took off her shirt today”lol
Hahaha love the creativity of your teaching
Mmmm that Calamari looks yum!
