We woke up from our little snoozer around 4 + decided to go for a little hike–why not go for a 4.5 mile (each way- so 9 miles total) hike with 4,921 feet of elevation gain —sounds fun to me!!
Here are a few views from outside of the campsite–

And then we started hiking–UP UP UP + into the meadows!!

Do you spy the snow marmot??!!

I do!!

At this point in the hike we thought we had seen a ton of gorgey stuff + weren’t expecting much more–
OH but wait!!

I spy a human mountain goat!!

Black Tusk Mountains–

Oh and that is all of the photos this post would allow–I guess there will be a third post to the most beautiful day of my life!!!!!
Cheers!!

Those views are spectacular! I can’t even imagine being there in real life. You certainly fit in well with your surroundings!
Black Tusk is something I have yet to do –probably because it involves an overnight stay. Jealous! And a marmot…more jealous!
Wow! These photos are incredibly beautiful!
