YESTERDAY.
Sometimes I like to spice life up a little by drinking champagne while cleaning or doing laundry–
I had to reorganize my closet- So I poured this–

Then I realized I probably needed water more than I needed champagne–So I spiked my champagne with gatorade–
Delicious. Kind of.

Lunch = 1/2 british muffin with melted TJs GOAT MILK BRIE (to die for delicioius)
To keep the assembly simple + avoid heating the entire oven–
I toasted the muffin in the toaster + heated the cheese in the microwave + then spread the cheese on the toasted muffin..

+ a TJs SUGAR PLUM!!
They are soooo good + sooooo gone. I need to go to tha sto!!

Sweet little Ralph + Penny hanging out—right before Penny was ATTACKED!!!!

Attacked with CLIPPERS!!!!!
Home girl gets SO HOT when we go on walks–So I ran to target + purchased professional grade clippers. Penny will be receiving MANY haircuts to make the purchase worthwhile.
She actually seems happier + more puppy like now that she is clipped!!

After the Penny fur massacre I headed over to ASHLEY’S for GRILLED PIZZZZZA!!!!
Ashley has her own granola company CHECK IT OUT!! So. Cool.
omg. omg. omg. omg. SO. DELICIOUS.

She made 3 different flavors–
- roasted eggplant
- crazy peppers
- summer squash + ground lemon grass
I did not have a favorite because I loved them ALL so much!!!!
She made her own sauce!! Super easy + delicious!! And picked up the crust from NOVA .. A local fave.
Thanks for having me over A+C!!!!

Up close + personal with the LOVELY Lemongrass + Summer Squash version–

I promise I didn’t eat alone!!
It just looks like I did!!

Then I ended the night like any classy lady would–
Complete with the 3 C’s–
- Conversation
- Coozie (not really sure if that starts with a C)
- Can of PBR

Cheers!!
B+B

That goat cheese brie is calling my name!! Your vacay pics are amazing–every single one! What a view.
Coozie is one of those words you can spell however the hell you want, because as long as there’s something in it
Melty cheese –I’m in love! I would need a few glasses of wine if I had to do laundry as well. Worst chore ever. Gatorade and champagne? That sounds like a perfect way to refuel post exercise
Your posts are so fun to read!!!
Cute Penny.
That pizza looks wonderful. Do Ashley make the crust by hand? Also,Penny looks very cute with her new haircut. I love how dogs can sometimes look like puppies!
Awww the cat looks just like our family’s cat (Oatmeal)! Penny’s haircut is fabulous —perfect for summer. And yummmm re:grilled pizza!
My husband also drinks a similar gatorade concotion, only his is with vodka. (He is so Russian!
Your friend is a fabulous chef. I’ve tried grilled pizza many times, but mine never seems to come out as good.
Thanks again for your help with the salmon patties.
Take care!
Naked Penny! Hopefully this helps with the whole yakking after walking issue
That sugar plum sounds delicious…plums are a summer favorite of mine!
Penny definitely looks well-groomed and beautified. She’s SUCH a gorgeous dog!
Pizza looks amazing! What a fun dinner!
l.o.v.e. this blog post + l.o.v.e. my new friend
champagne and gatorade? WHOA.
loco!!
i think grilled pizza is one of the best parts of summer.
Ooo goat milk brie sounds interesting. I wish I saw this post yesterday before I went to TJ’s. My dad was curious about the sugar plums, but didn’t get them. Darnit! Mmm lemon grass!
I’m thinking you need to try to give Penny a dullet (dog mullet)…just leave the fur between her ears short and then party it up in the back/top of neck region! Penny will become the new Knight Rider.
Pizza and champagne? Sign me up!
Your entire day was sponosored by the letter “C”!! Champagne, canine, clippers, cheese, cpizza, and class!
