My afternoon YOGA SESSION rocked my world per usual.
I drank a 32 oz Nalgene of Sweet-ish Tea during my yoga practice–Delicious. Not so nutritious.
Then I went to POPS in the park with friends–Loved the picnic part + the pre music music —So glad I left when they started singing. As much as I love music I do not love to hear someone sing “That’s Amore”. Eck!!
I kicked it off with a splash of Kath + Matt’s wine–YUM. Still not in the mood for drinking for some strange reason ..

Then gazpacho with homemade croutons–Muy excellente–Thanks K + M!!

Then Boar’s Head something with some kind of cheese. Pretty much delicious. Thanks Kate + Nate!!

Pasta salad made by me!! Not so photogenic–but pretty delicious.
- Whole Wheat Rotini —cooked with cayenne pepper in the water–Thanks for the idea ReRe!!
- Baby Spinach
- Zucchini
- Roma Tomato
- Black Olives
- Feta Cheese
- Two HUGE Crazy Long Sweet Red Peppers
- Black Olive Tapanade
- TJ’s Tuscan Vin Dressing
- A Dollop of Duke’s (mayo!!)

Kath suggested we wear red, green or white–The theme was Italian.
I obviously went with green.
What is wrong with the photo below?? (besides the crazy hair..)

Oh it just looks like I peed my pants–or my beer JUMPED off of the TABLE + onto my LAP!!

This dip was AMAZING. Not sure what it was or where it came from–but thanks Diana!!

The crazy AWESOME keep it cool container my aunt packed the pasta salad in–
She did such a fabbbbby job of packing it that it stayed ice cold in my hot car while I was in yoga!!

OH. MY. BEJEZUS.

One of Matt’s friends made these HOMEMADE ITALIAN DONUTS.
If he didn’t have a girlfriend I would try to date him just so he would make me these donuts. That is how PHENOMENAL they were.

I ate like 4 of them.

Then Matt broke out delicious HOME BREWS. I had sips!!
This one was some kind of summery deliciousness–

This was a fabby Raspberry Rye–

I ate too much + got too full + peaced out when the singing started + the bugs came out.
Now back to Californication..
Cheers!!

Oh my word, homemade donuts! Wow! Looks delish. Looks like you had a great time! Have a good week.
Those donuts could NOT look any more tempting if they tried. I’m so glad they’re not here now,or I’d be eating that whole platter haha!
omg i love you and you crack me up!
As if homemade Italian doughnuts weren’t enough,THREE dipping sauces!? Too bad he has a girlfriend!
All that food looks awesome! Glad you had a good time!
I also wanted to let you know about my Gracie’s Gear Giveaway –Check it out –http://lovejackson.blogspot.com/2009/06/gracies-gear-giveaway.html
those donuts look amazing! is that a giada recipe?
i totally would have spilled my beer too –I’m so clumsy.
Cayenne pepper in the water? That’s smart!! Looks like a great evening –I agree with you on That’s Amore! Only certain people can sing it (aka the original).
Wow,what a wonderful evening!!! Your pasta salad looks DELICIOUS,as does all the other yummy foods! Did you just mix in the veggies? or were they steamed/cooked beforehand?
Haha,I honestly didn’t notice the drink spillage until you pointed it out…I actually though your were referring to the fact that it sort of looks like you are missing 1/2 of your arm! HAHA
I put the spinach in the pasta while the pasta was still hottt to wilt it a weee bit–and then waited for it to cool to add the other veggies + dressings!!
those donuts would have been my downfall. I commened you for only having ‘like 4.’I’m certain I would have have like —the whole damn bin of them…yummmmmm
unfortunately society thinks that people should share. Had I had it my way all of them would have been MINE all MINE!!
MMM everything looks so amazing! I wish I lived closer! ;-D
Thanks for that! My mum recently harvested her garden full of tomatoes ,and I found myself the proud owner of two or five buckets worth! Of course I couldnt eat them all like that, but I did find a website full of tons more tomato recipes there. A website dedicated the topic!! Crazy what you can find on the internets these days!!
