The whole point of my trip was to go bed shopping–

But I’m thinking the rectangular style bed might just work a little better with the space 
Does anyone have a SULTAN FINNVIK? I am a comfortably firm mattress type of girl + this one seemed pretty much perfect..
Does anyone have any suggestions on the bed slats for the MALM bed frame? So many options!!

When i first read your post and paged down kinda quick it looked like what you had done was to melt the peep on the sour dough…and a fine death that would have been!!!
I have never been to an Ikea but everything looks so cool!

horseradish cheddar? too good to be true! i bet it is a spicy gooey explosion in your mouth. and if it isn’t,don’t tell me otherwise,because that is what i am envisioning.
i have the whole malm line of furniture and love it. i have the bed,bedside table that hooks to it,tall skinny dresser with a vanity mirror,and large 6 drawer dresser. can you tell i went overboard on the malm? i mean.. my room is only 8 feet by 11 feet. i got the sultan lillaker slats. ahh i could spend so long in ikea.. it is bad for me to go there. luckily it is about 30 min away.

LOVE Ikea. Shopping there makes me feel so hip and Euro. I like the zig-zag shelf thing,I want one!

Ikea is dangerous,to be sure…but becareful because some of their larger funature (ie couches/beds/chairs) are kind of a you get what you pay for deal…my roomies and I have broken 1 bed and 2 loveseats thus far and we really aren’t that rowdy. Just a heads up,I still love the store!

Ikea has yummy food! Never had the cinnamon rolls,but they sure smell heavenly!

LOVE Ikea. I always feel like I shouldn’t for some reason but they’ve never steered me wrong. My boyfriend and I have an entire psychedelic guest bedroom we call the ‘Mammut Room’because it’s all from Ikea’s Mammut line of kids furniture. It is very awesome.
As for the bed –we got our frame elsewhere (we wanted four-poster) but our mattress/box-spring is from Ikea and it’s so awesome. We tried out all the beds in store and the one we got was a Sultan spring mattress,but I looked on the site and they don’t seem to sell it anymore. I’d say the Hamnvik is the closest. But just try them all out and see what you like best,I was surprised I liked the box springs the most.
I love IKEA! I got the most amazing comforter for my dorm room from there and it is so cozy.:)
