Ohhhhhhhh I had French Toast again!! I love love love love love love love it and just can’t get enough of it!!
Today I topped it with syrup (regular kind) + baby vanilla poofs!! (that is what I like to call them) + blueberry spread + ARTISANA ALMOND BUTTER .. it was soooooo PURE + DELICIOUS.

Yoga was extra super fabby fab fab amazing today.. the dizzy spell is over —adding sea salt to my foods + upping my H2O intake has really really helped!!
I finally graduated to just a sports bra!! (and pants–obviously)–it was my “summer body”goal–WOOP WOOP!! I feel like I’m more in touch with my body when I can see my belly button and my muscles flexing.. it also allows the teachers to really see what is going on with my spine..
I ALSO did DROP BACK BACKBENDS in yoga today!! This is exciting for me!! Flying into crow is my next goal!!
Then a quick trip to TJs —mmmm mmmmm MMMM mmmmm
I’ll be eating good this week!!

-WW tortilla + cream cheese + smoked salmon + capers……

Fresh roasted beets + cornichons!!

My flight has been booked for my summer trip!! Flying into Seattle,WA + traveling to the San Juan Islands + into BC.. SUGGESTIONS ANYONE??!!
Cheers!!

San Juan Islands are so amazing! I went there and felt like I was in a pirate movie. So…maybe this will make more sense when you get there. What I mean is all the tiny islands in the bright blue water. It is really just so picture-perfect.
ah,so jealous of the trader joe’s goods! I wish I could order from them online.
I’ve never been to San Juan, but I bet it will be fab
You are a yoga goddess and inspire to me to get back into it! I am now going to go look up the class schedule to get my spine back into normality!
OOo just a sports bra?? Friskay!!
I love how yoga always inspires me to make a creative and healthy meal afterward.
Loving the salmon! Another great idea for a way to eat it. I should definitely try it out!
I’ve never been to that area, but I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time!
Hi,I’ve been meaning to introduce myself for like a month now. Your blog is great, came across it through KERF. Love your food presentation. I am from BC and would be happy to give you tons of fun suggestions. A trip to Tofino is at the top of my list and there is so much to see and do around Vancouver. I think my e-mail will show up with this comment so please feel free to e-mail me with any questions at all and hopefully I can help you set up a fun little itinerary.
Jealous of the trip, the roll up thing…oh man…
Which one of the San Juan Islands are you going to? I spent some time on Orcas,it is beautiful. Totally feel away from everything. Food is expensive there,so bring your basics if you can, will definetly keep some more money for fun spending!!!!
Sounds like a great yoga practice!! And what yummy eats for the day!
What a cool trip. I’m jealzzzz.
My sister lives out in Seattle, and every time I visit her we always go to the Macrina Bakery on the weekend for breakfast. It is absolutely divine, best ever! But you can literally eat your way through Seattle at Pike’s Marketing:Matt in the market is always good, crumpet shop,Beecher’s cheese is a must (their mac and cheese/ cheese curds),Bottega Italiana has great gelato, molly moon maple walnut ice cream was just written up in bon appetit (my sis went there and said it was the best ice cream ever),and flying fish is one of the best fish restaurants in Seattle.
There is some great hiking and art museums out there too.
Have fun!
That lunch looks amazing! Salmon CC and Capers are one of my fave combos too. Makes a great egg scramble or omelet as well. Yum.
Good idea on putting the salmon in the wrap. Looks like a perfect lunch.
Oh,I’m SO JEALOUS of the smoked salmon (and the vacation). I just love smoked salmon!!
Have you ever heard of the YEAH TOAST! song?! There’s a part in it where the guy screams french toast and you’re breakfasts keep reminding me of it!
mmm delicious looking eats per usual!! I love the combo of smoked salmon/cream cheese/capers! I always looked forwad to having brunch with the jewish side of my family bc I knew lox and bagels were in my future!
You go girl- I bet you looked fabulous sporting that sports bra.
Hmm,never been to the places that you are going, but your trip sounds wonderful. Good luck planning it!
I’ll for sure get you a better list of recomendations
BC rocks!
Love the looks of the salmon roll up
People are saying they are jealous of your food, but I am jealous that you wear a sports bra to yoga. I need to work on that!
that french toast looks so so delicious!!! You need to be on Food Network pronto because your food presentation skills are just beyond amazing.
I’ve been following your site for a while now and I finally decided to create my own blog woo woo!
Can’t wait to keep reading!

I don’t know where you plan to go in BC,but,I live in Vancouver and have spent quite a bit of time in Victoria,so if you want any tips on restaurants, activities or yoga to check out just let me know,I’d be happy to help:)
Kelsey,Seattle and British Columbia are two of my very favorite places. They are both so beautiful and fun to visit. Don’t know if you are going near Victoria on Vancouver island, but it is a great city to visit. Very cool! We spent a week on Thetis Island one summer and are hoping we can go back next year. It was the best trip! If you like flowers and gardens, look into Butchart Gardens. I hope you have a great trip, take lots of pictures, the scenery is soooo beautiful
Northern BC is gorgeous! If you head this way,let me know,I would love to go for dinner at a local Mexican place that rocks!
You’re more than welcome –glad Kath shared and you enjoyed them. I LOVE that snack mix
Jealous of your vacation plans for sure!
My ex went to San Juan Island a few summers ago w/ his family. They went to a lavender farm (here:http://www.pelindabalavender.com/) and picked lavender and also came back w/ lots of goodies (lotion, candles, lavender honey, mmmmm)
Pat is right. You can eat your way through Pike Place. I live in Seattle and spend many a’lunches there! My market faves:Peroshki Peroshki, any Hombow place,Beeacher’s Mac n Cheeese, mini donut stand, the list goes on. Make sure to eat some Copper River Salmon while you’re in town as it’s in season. Sushi here is amazing. And coffee (but try something other than Starbucks or Seattle’s Best). Oh! and you MUST try Fran’s Salty Caramels! Let me know if you need any other suggestions.
