Thursday at the KERF Ranch

French toast is just SOOOO good!! I used the same RECIPE as yesterday..

Plus a whole banana + a heaping bowl of loupe + berries!! All topped off with sea salt and consumed 3 hours pre yoga..

I also had 32 oz of H2O + did an inversion before the balancing poses–no black stars!!

Proof of the crazy wildlife in the backyard of KERF.. I buried my mulch yesterday–and something unburied it overnight!!

IMG_3679.JPG

I had the last baby splash of TJs chard while making lunch..

Zucchini boats!!

IMG_3682.JPG

Filled with zucchini + black beans + pinto beans + salsa + feta + spicy spices!!

Baked at 375* for 30 minutes.. In a handmade bowl!!

IMG_3685.JPG

I had a little desert while I waited for lunch to cook!!

IMG_3687.JPG

Bottle cap for scale!!

IMG_3689.JPG

After baking–OMG so easy + SOOO good–the hardest part was waiting for this to cook!!

IMG_3690.JPG IMG_3691.JPG

The bears + I had a relaxing afternoon on the couch watching a movie + napping–this couch is UBER comfortable!!

IMG_3692.JPG

CHURTON whined about the subtitles.. BEAKER + BOCKER told him to hushhhhhHHHHH!!

IMG_3693.JPG

Dessert!! Seriously this is the best flavor in the world–HD pineapple coconut.

After work it was time for an ooey gooey comfort meal..

Ehhh.. I opened + poured this wine but wasn’t in the mood for the wine or drinking..

Baked Beans + Baked Broccoli Salad!!

IMG_3705.JPG

Broccoli + Bleu Cheese + Mayo + Sushi Vinegar + Black Pepper.. Mixed + Baked at 400* for 17 minutes.. Nutritious + Delicious!!

The boys wanted dessert.. They were good this afternoon so I delivered.

IMG_3711.JPG

BEAKER had a scoop of HD pineapple coconut..

IMG_3712.JPG

BOCKER insisted on being worldly tonight after watching a foreign film this afternoon. He wanted the french placemat + wine + chocolate!! He asked for an espresso–but I had to draw the line somewhere. He had a scoop of dark + milk chocolate over one of Kate’s cookies!! He’s left handed just like his mom–adorable!!

IMG_3713.JPG

CHURTON wanted to be like BEAKER and had a scoop of HD pineapple coconut..

IMG_3714.JPG

BOCKER wanted to show off the placemat that his Grandbearma sent to the land of KERF!!

ALL of the bears insisted that they eat their ice cream with real silver spoons–I concur!!

Only 2 more days with the bears!! So Sad!! But will be so glad to have Kath + Matt back!!

Cheers!

Haha! You’re hilarious Kelsey! I am seriously LOVING the zucchini boats. I HAVE to try that one out. What kind of salsa and spices did you use?

Aww I’m sure the bears will miss you terribly! You’ll just have to make more visits to the House of KERF! ;)

Yes,I agree with Heather. The bears are going to really miss their wonderful aunt. Their dad does spend good time with them but I’m not so sure about their mom…

Food looks so yummy and I love the bear pictures. They are so helpful chopping canteloupe and whatnot.

Your best photograph ever is the one with the cantaloupe and berries! SO beautiful! Unfortunately it is followed by your worst ever…that compost heap! That def needed it’s own link ala Nate

I hope you helped those bears out with dessert. Too much chocolate/pineapple/cookie is no good for our furry friends. Good thing they’re great for us!
