I believe thats a serrano chile. Pretty hot,not nearly as spicy as your habanero!

Looks like a serrano pepper to me. They’re kinda spicalicious. =] Definitely remove the seeds and the inner ribs!!! That’s where all the spicy pepper oil is.

I hope your mouth is less firey now! Once in collge I was eating at Panda Express and there was one of those little black peppers in my meal (I don’t know the name). I too order 4* hot thai and love the spice –this pepper made me so hot and bothered I spilled TWO drinks trying to get them into my mouth. Tears were pouring down my face. My friends thought it was hysterical but later I was prety pissed –it was Panda Express, the most Americanized version of Asian food ever is not allowed to burn off my face!

I believe the rule of thumb is thin, skinny peppers are wicked hot. I could be wrong, though!

hmm i think you should chop the left over habanero into tiny pieces and store them in the freezer. that way you could use them (in a REALLY little amount) whenever you need that lil KICK spice to your food. =)

and that green one looks like thai. i might be wrong though. but thai peppers are spicy as well! not as spicy as habanero though.
