HOLY HOTTTTT!!!

I am currently on FIRE —literally —in more way than one!!

Kath + I went to the YOGA ONE this morning to renew our love for yoga now that exams are behind us.

YOGA ONE is a HOT STUDIO..

I HAVE NEVER SWEATED SO MUCH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.. I poured buckets + I lovvvvvved it!! The 90 minute session flew by + I can already feel a difference in my mood —relaxed + grounded.

I’m going back ASAP to sign up for an unlimited membership–I can see myself there 5 days a week..

Pre yoga I dined on 1/2 of a GH bun with cinnamon + brown sugar + butter!!

After yoga I went to the market + TJs .. I picked up lots of fresh veggies + fun things to spice them up!!

Surprisingly I made it home with only one egg down..

IMG_3180.JPG

I picked up a few BEAUTIFUL peppers at the market —they were labeled hot —a seemingly relative term..

IMG_3181.JPG

I wanted veggies + to use my cracked egg so I went for a stir fry..

-red onion

-small yellow squash

-small zucchini

-”hot”pepper –a whole one

-snap peas from my parents garden!!

-splash of soy sauce + EVOO + lemon juice

IMG_3182.JPG

I got the pan really hot + added the busted egg–

IMG_3183.JPG

tossed in a little CONVENIENT TJs thai rice.. It says 2 servings–I probably used 1/6 of the package..

IMG_3185.JPG

IMG_3186.JPG

topped with part of this GORGEOUS heirloom tomato..

IMG_3188.JPG

and crushed thai lime cashews —per recommendation of SANDY!!

Excellent recommendation!!

IMG_3189.JPG

and a dollop of TJs euro yogurt —just in case the pepper was packing heat..

IMG_3190.JPG IMG_3192.JPG

and the pepper was indeed packing heat.. I happened to scratch under my arm while cooking —after touching the MONSTER PEPPER!!

IMG_3200.JPG

I was only able to get through 2/3rds of the way through lunch when I hit the MONSTER PEPPER MOTHER LOAD!!!!!!

I am a girl who orders thai food 4 star spicy any day + can handle thai spicy with a smile on my face.. This pepper made me STOP EATING!! I’m pretty sure that has never happened in my entire LIFE!!

IMG_3207.JPG

My mouth was SCREAMING —I ran for the fridge thinking MILK MILK MILK —and then I remembered I DON’T DRINK MILK..

Frozen Mango Vanilla Soy Cream was the best option available..

and this was the most PERFECT song for the situation –

ICE CREAM By MUSCLES

ice cream literally saved the day..

IMG_3208.JPG

Today I got 2 ffffffffUNN packages in the mail–

One from a friend I haven’t seen in a while.. I LOVE the 100% recycled notebook —suggested use was for recipes.. what a novel idea!! Maybe I should keep some of those —since I have a FOOD blog + all ;)

Thanks MDF!

A HUGE THANKS goes to TRISTAN from Premier Organics…. I cannot wait to try out this amazingly natural line of product!!

IMG_3204.JPG

mmmmmmmm..

Now I am going to celebrate the survival of my pepper experience with a margarita cupcake!!

Cheers!!

That is a habanero pepper or sometimes called a scotch bonnet. It’s the hottest pepper I know. They are mostly that orange color but can be shaped a little differently. Wait till tomorrow. Love Dad

Hhaah. Looks like you ate a habanero! The pepper master is asleep upstairs after a 3am wake-up call.

              Yay for Artisana!

Heyy! That sounds like an intense pepper! I want to try a hot yoga class so badly. I think I might within the next 2 weeks. I’d like to see how much more flexible I would be.

How do you guys go about getting these Artisana samples? Lucky! ;)

I am immensely intrigued by those cashews. I would think they are insanely addictive. And I may have a small amount of jealousy over the Artisana fun.

                            Yeah,habaneros are crizzazy!
My fiance uses them in cooking, but in order for me to eat whatever it is,he HAS to take the seeds out!
According to Bobby Flay, habaneros need to be accompanied by a warning! LOL!
