Sunday Sunday..

PEEP MOTHER LOAD!!

I stumbled across this beautiful site in my dad’s closet–

I will neither confirm nor deny the disappearance of a box of BUNNIES!!

I love bunnies so much more than peeps–better ratio of mallow to sugary outside–Heaven. Pure heaven.

IMG_2750.JPG

I instigated a puppy war. Penny dominated Maximus. She went for the throat.

IMG_2757.JPG

MEET MY DAD–

He’s the only reason I know how to cook!!

IMG_2767.JPG

We went to Monterrey’s for lunch–so good. Always so good.

IMG_2773.JPG

#62 with shrimp hold the sour cream..

Translation–shrimp quesadilla + beans with guac!!

IMG_2780.JPG

Some people think shrimp are scary at a mexican restaurant.. I think they are delicious.

IMG_2782.JPG

This little piggy went to the MARKET..

Dad + I went on a trip to a local market that is open all year for a little fun.

I’d never seen these little guys.. So we brought a couple home!

IMG_2785.JPG IMG_2786.JPG

I had NO idea it is NEW CROP PEANUT TIME already again!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE new crop BOILED PEANUTS!!

Today we cheated + bought the already boiled version!! HOLY YUM!!

IMG_2787.JPG

GAH I LOVE new crop peanuts so much!! I went a little market camera happy!!

IMG_2789.JPGIMG_2790.JPG IMG_2791.JPG

IRON CHEF dressing style..

I challenged my dad to a “dressing off”–He is the master at creating dressings + I was feeling up for a challenge.

The main ingredient real greek balsamic vinegar–So different from what most people are used to–I love it.

IMG_2794.JPG IMG_2796.JPG

Mine is in the bullet + Dad’s is in the bowl–

Mine was sweet + his was savory..

IMG_2799.JPG

I thought that I won–He thought that he won..

So I took it to dinner + let my friends decide..

It was a TIE!!

PUPPILCIOUS PHOTO SHOOT!!

I didn’t make it to the Congaree today–So I made up for it with a longboarding session with the pups!!

They LOVE the longboard!!

Dad was the photographer–

IMG_2837.JPG

Kick off DANCE party!!

IMG_2812.JPG

Let the FUN begin!!

IMG_2848.JPG

IMG_2844.JPG

I didn’t want my parent’s dogs to feel left out–

THE EXCITEMENT!!

IMG_2872.JPG

JUST KIDDING–they were actually pretty good at the up hill!!

IMG_2867.JPG

HARPER TIME!!

Then I headed across town to hang out with my most favorite 2 year old.. There is really NO way this babe is 2 1/2 years old.. She is SOOO tall + SOOO smart.

IMG_2876.JPG

This drink was delivered to me outside.. A nice malbec with a cube of ice + slice of orange–

I have never had orange with my wine before but it is GREAT!! I never put it in the wine, but the nose of the orange paired with the wine is simply outstanding.

IMG_2893.JPG

Momma Bear (6 months in to making another baby bear!!–anyone know any good girl names??) + Papa Bear + Baby Bear!!

Also another surreal friendship–I knew these guys before they were even engaged + now they have a 2 1/2 year old + have been married for 5 years!! GAH GUF GUF!!

I still feel like I am 15 years old —I am such a KIDDULT!!

IMG_2877.JPG

HARPER loves MAX!!

  IMG_2880.JPG

Flower delivery–Thanks HARPER!!

IMG_2883.JPG

Another delivery!!

IMG_2887.JPG

Little boy BROWN EYES!!

IMG_2888.JPG

This little piggy ate PIZZA..

I took your recommendations + brought over a little of everything–which allowed us to build our own salads + pizzas..

TOPPINGS

strawberries,mushrooms,kalamata olives,green bell peppers,pecans,cucumbers,tomatoes,red onions,fresh jalapenos,goat cheese,mozz cheese (freshly grated!).. So much fun!!

THANKS FOR ALL OF THE GREAT IDEAS!!

IMG_2895.JPG

At the store I saw this sauce + had to try it after tasting the Buitoni Products sent for a foodbuzz tasting..

It was beyond amazing.. These products are REALLY GREAT.

IMG_2896.JPG

I built my own salad!!

IMG_2901.JPG

PUBLIX was SOLD OUT of their amazing pizza dough–So I had to take an alternate route.. Ciabatta Bread!!

We all designed our own creations–

IMG_2902.JPG

Mine!! I ended up smothering them both in jalapenos after this picture–I’ve really been craving spice lately..

IMG_2905.JPG

HARPER’S CREATION!!

Who doesn’t love a slice of red onion + one snow pea on their pizza?

IMG_2906.JPG

ART TIME!!

After dinner + reading Harper her bedtime story it was time to assist in a little art project–

With 2 MFAs + 1 BFA in the room casting Jim’s arm just seemed like an appropriate activity..

IMG_2907.JPG

I was a HUGE fan of the JUMPSUIT Yvette let me borrow to protect my clothes —I feel like I now need one in my life..

IMG_2908.JPG

And so it begins..

IMG_2910.JPG

IMG_2911.JPG

After the plaster wrap.. Jim’s arm weighed at least an extra 8 pounds..

IMG_2914.JPG

TA DA!! Casting was a success–I can’t wait to see the installation + get a cast of the hand —I hope they go the wax route ;)

IMG_2915.JPG

IMG_2917.JPG

SWEET ENDINGS!!

We watched the video Yvette took of the casting + had vanilla frozen yogurt!!

Oh the things you say when slathering vaseline on someone’s arm..

IMG_2913.JPG

Cheers!!
