Speaking of DAY BRIGHTENING —I chose to wear Kath’s Ralph Lauren Blue perfume today —It is one of my favorites of all time + I lost mine years ago!! I need to add that to my rainy day wish list!! I feel so happy when I wear it!!

Kath packed dried fruit + nuts for a little early afternoon snack–perfect pick me up!!

Kath also sent me home with fun fun present!! The sardines that I LOVED so much from last weeks potluck!!

I decided to make a pescotarian version of SC BBQ.. TOTAL SUCCESS!!!!

I mixed the entire can of mustard dill sardines with shredded cabbage + Franks Hot Sauce!!

Everything tastes better with a little Franks!!

I moved the party outdoors with MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE BOOK EVER..

Roasted turnips —SO. GOOD. SO. SIMPLE.

I tossed them in EVOO + sea salt + roasted them at 400* for ten minutes (until soft)..

Surprisingly HOT pepperoncini!!

Banana bites sprinkled with crushed flax seed + a drizzle of my Mom’s Honey!!

This sandwich literally tasted like SC BBQ —–SOOOO GOOD!!

Just as I settled in.. and opened my book…

I realized that the grass was being cut!! Back to the indoor world!! I’ll crack open the book another sunny day..

FOOD SERVICE FOOD SERVICE FOOD SERVICE–I need INSPIRATION!!!!!!

Perhaps musical inspiration.. I must keep the paws away from the itunes.. I MUST!!
