Rules + Regulations..

B+B will be operating under limited hours for the next few weeks.. Upon successful completion of a few upcoming school work items today I was under a delusion that I would be enjoying a few hours of free time this evening–actual free time–not procrastinating free time.. I was looking forward to the kind of free time where you feel like you deserve it + there is nothing hanging over your head..

..until I decided it would be a good idea to make a list of due dates while eating dinner.. BUZZ KILL..

Oh wait!–I didn’t have a buzz to kill at dinner because the Latin American restaurant I chose to dine at “does not serve alcohol”–

SCENARIO-

Key:

G= waitress

BB= me

———–SENARIO———–

G- What you like to drink?

BB- I’ll have a margarita (the margarita I’d been looking forward to for almost an hour,since stepping foot out of the classroom door)

G- No margarita.

BB- Ok,I’ll have a beer—

G- No beer.

BB- Cerveza?

G- No cerveza.

BB- So,you don’t serve alcohol?

G- No. No alcohol.

BB- Ok,I’ll just have a water.

——-FAST FORWARD——-

I walk to the ladies room to clean my paws when I spy a nice handwritten sign that states in bold letters “NO ID,NO ALCOHOL”..

Hmmm.. I thought they didn’t serve alcohol here..

I glanced around,only to spy a nice cooler with a clear door–FULL OF CERVEZA!!

——-FAST FORWARD——-

A few guys came in and sat at a table near me,asked the same girl for beer + promptly received exactly what they asked for–BEER!!

Dinner was fantastico..

Vegetable Burrito + Beans..

It was full of delicious Red onions + Squash + Cilantro and much more..

Check out this “green sauce”.. the waitress and I had another “fun”conversation.. me using broken spanish and her loathing my existence..

She explained to me that this sauce was in fact “verde”.. complete with me saying the color in spanish and pointing to a green object.. good thing I already had my food..

A few minutes later she brought the green sauce I asked for earlier–you know.. the one that didn’t exist..

I probably should have thought about the safety of the salsa,taking into consideration what a great relationship I had with “G”,but I did not..

–Back to the Rules + Regulations–

I will be posting irregularly,but at least once a day..

I will be reading your fun fun comments,but may not get a chance to respond to all of them..

I will be eating out of the ordinary–I foresee an increased consumption in restaurant food until May 2nd.. no judging please

I will be the worlds worst blog reader / commenter–but your blogs will be saved in my google reader + I will catch up the first week of May..

I will missssssssss playing on B+B all day

That being said I am going to get a couple of hours of school work in before Wes gets here!..
