As much as I dread rainy + cold weather I was actually looking forward to terrible weather today so I could FINALLY get some work done..
Surprise Surprise the weather decided to change its mind + it is another BEAUTIFUL day..
So–I’m pretending that it is gross outside.. I am also pretending that the speakers on my computer is broken + I left my earbuds at home + the internet doesn’t work + I lost my phone.. ALL of these things are LIES.. BUT–I’m trying to trick myself into productivity..

KATH + I decided on a new potluck experience this week.. 2 days instead of 1 + There is a “main provider”on each day..
Today is my day + I chose the theme of SMOKED SALMON!.. I love a fun + fancy bagged lunch!..

Due to our randomness of who brings plates + utensils in the past I assumed we’d bring our own like last week.. WRONG!!
I packed a knife + had my plate (from breakfast to go go!!).. Kath had spoons from the yogurt she brought for us..

I gave Kath my plate + I decided to wing it with lids.. No one had the pleasure of using a fork!!

We watched the office while we dined.. Ironically (you’ll see why in a minute) the episode was titled “The Fire“..

I always feel like I’m “in trouble”when I have my knife out at work.
Those chairs remind me of the ones I used to fight over with my sister at restaurants! I’m so jealous of your smoked salmon lunch…it’s one of my FAVORITES!!

i hated those chairs! they were always the wrong height for me and i could never push myself in far enough. plus sometimes you had to swing in tandem with your neighbour which got annoying for anyone that sat next to me because i enjoyed the swinging.
