Smoked Salmon 3 Ways With a Side of Sunshine..

I knew I HAD to enjoy the sunshine today so I made a little picnic after lab + before fun fun homework time!!..

ALL of the featured products are from Trader Joe’s and ALL surpassed my expectations.. SO GOOD!

This is a rich balsamic dressing..

Baby Spinach + Carrots + Cucs..

The only WILD smoked salmon TJs had was this lovely 12oz portion.. It is cured with brown sugar + is DIVINE!..

The MOST important word on the package!..

Salmon is one thing I try not to bend the rules on.. WILD ONLY!!.. I do not want to eat a corn fed carnivore..

The whole way home from lab I was plotting the fate of the salmon in my head.. I couldn’t decide so I had all 3 options!..

Sockeye is the best Pacific Salmon! And incase you don’t see “wild”on a package,but it says it’s Sockeye –it has to be wild,because you cannot farm Sockeye. Actually,you really can’t farm any Pacific Salmon. They are too fiesty,unlike their lazy Atlantic Salmon counterpart (which,technically,isn’t a true salmon,it’s a trout).
