I love this can opener soooo much because it is so user friendly + germ free.. With your typical can opener you are puncturing into the can–forcing the germs/debris from the lid of the can into the can,the lid of the can usually falls in (at least if you’re me..),+ you can get cut by the sharp edges created.. With this little amazing guy by Kuhn Rikon nothing is punctured + there are no sharp edges
This picture is deceptive!.. In this small pan is approximately 1/4C black beans + 1/4C Soy Chorizo.. Sauteed until hot..
This is the salad “bed”.. Next time I will omit the mushrooms.. I thought I loved mushrooms on all salads that involve spinach—but I found out tonight that that is not true!.. The flavor of the mushrooms was a little over powering of the taco toppings.. Next time I’ll go with carrots instead..
Money Saving Tip!!.. Gently add a few paper towels to all types of boxed + bagged greens.. It keeps the greens nice + crisp, delaying that lovely slimy effect that eventually happens to aging lettuce..
This bleu cheese cole slaw is really the star
of the show! I make this lovely + easy to make concoction at least once a week and eat it in so many ways..
In the bowl:
-2C chopped green cabbage
-2T bleu cheese crumbles
-1T mayo (I am live in NC—therefore it is a state law that I use Duke’s Mayo )
-Spices—pinch of sea salt + crushed red pepper flakes + freshly ground black pepper

Sleepy girl!..
It is already past 9 + I still have a paper to write!!.. So in efforts to save time in the morning when I’m still sluggish I’ve already prepped my breakfast.. Using Kaths banana whipped oats recipe + 1/3 blueberries I’ll be ready to go in the morning by just popping it on the stovetop + adding the milk (soy for me!!) + water + vanilla while I dry my hair .. Tomorrow will be my first morning with Barney Butter ….Yippie!!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my page today!!.. I’m super excited to have joined the blogging community
