This delicious bowl of super fresh,super delicious fruit has been a great start to this drab and dreary day. My new elephant bowl is stuffed with blood orange,tangerine,and pineapple wedges with a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds…No scurvy here! It has been suggested by food combining research that eating fruit by itself on an empty stomach is the best way to absorb all of the wonderful nutrients and antioxidants it has to offer–and it is supposed to prevent…hmmm.. how do I say this delicately.. well,I’ll just say it–it prevents gas and bloat!
